Assessment

• In each Academic year school will hold the following assessment for class (I) to (X).
  • Periodic Test – 2
  • Half Yearly Examination- (September)
  • Annual Examination – (March)
• Assessment is an evaluation tool to record the progress of a student. It is compulsory for the students of class (I) to (X) to appear in Formative & Summative Assessments.
• The dates of Formative and Summative Assessments are almost final and every student is supposed to appear in them.
• A student not appearing in Assessments will be marked absent.
• If on medical grounds students are not able to appear in both the assessments, the application for the same supported with a medical certificate issued by a doctor of Govt./Municipal/Cantonment Hospital only and countersigned by the parents must be got sanctioned in time. In such a case leave would be marked in place of absence and students will not suffer. Such application must be submitted within a week of the formative & Summative assessment at the latest.
• If student is absent SA on medical basis, he/she has to appear in the examination after wordsas and when arranged by the principal.
